I want to make backup copy of my PS2 game. Which is the best

Personally I use Stomp RecordNow Max .. simplicity in itself to use ;) .. a trial can be downloaded here ....

There's no "best" software, all are equally good it's just up to you to decide which you prefer most. AnyDVD and CloneDVD are about the same except tht CLoneDVD doesn't backup protected DVDmovies. CloneCD is for CDs and as most PS2 games are DVD nowadays you'll be better off with the DVD version. Then there are lots of other burning programs, you decide which one you like most. http://www.mgforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26798

Does it matter if my OS FAT32 or NTFS? ( ire need split). Does back up copy work with the new Slim PS2? Do I still need to modify Console (Mod). Thanks

Well i dunno about other software, but i do know that DVDDecrypter can make a second file if it's getting above 4GB then you get an MDS file which holds the 2 created ISO files together. And i think Alcohol 120% does the same as it's also creates an MDS file.

It doesn't matter about your OS file system.

You will have to get your PS2 chipped to play backups. There are other methods, but they are not very reliable, and could damage your console.

Try a Computer Fair in your area ..

or a Computer Market ..

http://www.computermarkets.co.uk/

They are currently charging around £80 to chip the new slimline PS2's .. they do it whilst you wait ;)

Which type of DVD should I buy in order to make a workable backup copy of ps2 games?

Personally I use the DVD-R, with the Ritek, purple dye, writing surface .. but most DVD's will handle them OK.

You could send it away. If you look online there are places that will do it if you send them the PS2 and they will send it back. I dont know if you can trust them, but apparently they do a good job.

Thats really cool. Ive never heard of a place that did mods while you wait. Thats awesome, thats a great service, I think some of those need to get to America.
