I HATE halflife 2 and STEAM because

I now own two copys of the cursed halflife 2, my first copy had a invalid cdkey, unable to return it because of online registration, I reluctantly bought another one, now this copy worked online but I cannot play it offline it always tries to connect to my steam account, I have updated the game selected remember my details and all that stuff it says in the card you get in the box, and it still trys to connect online???? I really hate this game and if this becomes the norm with all new pc games, im thowing out my computer and sticking to console games.


(how do I fix the offline mode I dont want to connect every time I want to play this game)

ps I have tick do not update this game in both counter strike and halflife 2)

hl2 ppl are happy thou as they have closed so many accounts.
by the way. y did you buy another copy. what is wrong with contacting steam and informing them about your Situation??
