Hey, ive tried to get a Warcraft 3 no-cd patch to work, but every time i nothing happens. some times it says something about 570 in storm.dll doesnt exist, and sometimes it says the normal thing... that no cd is in the drive....

Help please!!! i hate having to use my cds... im the kind of person who might drop them on the floor without knowing, and then step on them :|

sounds like you got the wrong version of the no-cd. the version of the no-cd must be the same as the version of the game.
i would also reinstall WC3 as it looks like it didn't install correctly (storm.dll error)

i fixed the storm.dll error...

but i think i need a

v 1.0 patch... and all the ones at MG start at 1.07...

im confused.... this is the retail game, which means no patches.... and just installed. after installing ROC, i installed FT, and then i applied the v1.07 no-cd... and nothing happened. which no-cd do i need for FT without any patches installed, straight out of the box?

i would say 1.07 no-cd
FT is an add on. so it will not be version 1. like other games are.

to fix this:
1)reinstall warcraft3:ROC (if you don't have a cd-key try a key-gen from the internet. this will allow you to play war3 on single player.By the way, it is illegal... your call..)
2)reinstal warcraft3:tft (if you don't have a cd-key try a key-gen from the internet. this will allow you to play war3 on single player.By the way, it is illegal... your call again..)
3)update from the internet
4)download crack for version 1.17 from http://www.megagames.com/gcracks.html
hope this helped.
oh!! you'd better buy the game cause yor gonna get bored of the single player really soon!! and you won't be able to play on-line without an original cd-key
