Cant Turn off my computer

I cant believe this either guys. Everytime i shut down my computer it just restarts. Im getting worried cuz this is weird.

does the power actually switch off completely before it comes back on or does it just start shutting down and then reverts back to desktop?

Pull the plug if u need to turn it off, untill u find a way to fix it.

someone could've messed with your registry... there's a really annoying trick to do that..
I found the trick on google, but I can't remember what exactly I was looking for.. I'll try and find it for you, but no garuntees.

but I know for a fact that you can do that sort of thing with windows registry.

This may sound silly, but try this:

from a CMD prompt type:

shutdown /f

That should forcefully shut the machine down, no reboot (that would be the /r switch :) )

Yea JLTN713 u should try it , becuase that will should shut it down for u, i know this becuase at the start of this year me and a friend tryed different things on the prompt program thing and we did something like what arckane did and it shut down the comp
