Painkiller LAN fix needed

Hi,
Painkiller (deviance) doesnt work on my LAN. Sometimes I cant see others servers and sometimes I get this error when connecting: net error : failed challenge authentication !! a hack job, perhaps ?

I think it has to do with serials being the same or so. So is there any way to fix this?

go buy the game and then see if you have problems. don't cheat the system and get a deviance copy.
