Hi there... i bought HL2 legit and then upon installation Steam tells me my cd key is already in use... did exactly what it told me to do: send photos of cd key, game cd, box etc to verify ownership and wait 2 weeks... Have done that but to no avail. now my patience is run dry. I just wanna play the game. So can anyone give me a step by step instruction on how to play it without steam?
