Painkiller BOOH installing mystery

Ok...I'll try and explain this as best I can. Painkiller Battle out of Hell. Have two burned cds and Nero seems to have burned them ok. Autorun doesn't work on either cd. Exploring cd shows 3-4 files and a data folder. Double clicking on any file will not start the game up. If I double click the .exe that is there I get a message saying that the game is already installed. If I click continue it says the registry is being updated, the message window disappears and then nothing.

So I tried burning new images from another source. This time in My Computer, when disc 1 is inserted, my DVD drive changes to a CD drive and if I try to explore the disc XP tells me that the disc is corrupted.

I haven't done anything new to Nero and it has copied cds for me fine up till now.

Help would be gratefully received.

i'm not sure what your problem but if you downloaded that images from the internet maybe you got fakes ones also you should tried another burning programs like alcohol or clonecd also could be problem with nero not recgnizing the image correctly also try installing from virtual drives that could help you to not waste cds

I'm pretty sure the images are not fake as they come from 2 tried and tested sources. I've tried mounting them in Alcohol but to no avail.

Sorted. Alcohol gave me better burns.
