All my games are freezing after 5 or 10 minutes after I upgraded my motherboard and processor I've reinstalled windows and eveything.....I was wondering if it could be that my power supply isn't sufficient is that possible

Have you tried and update graphic card drivers and DirectX ?

yes, i'm completely updated.......sorry for not listing all the specifics in my question.....I have a 2700+ xp ,1024 memory, radeon 9800 pro.........the reason I think its the power supply is because occasionally my front fan goes slow then speeds up again while on loading screens(the only time it freezes) and since the radeon 9800 pro is power on the same line as my harddrive and my front fan could be that after something loads there isn't sufficeint power to use the graphics card, resulting in a freeze. I've also tested multiple games and the freezing has happened and it doesn't allways freeze at the same loading screens.

in the ATI control panel take off the VPU recovery. and see if that helps. normally sorts out my freezing.

make sure your cpu etc is fast enough as more heat will keep your installed games warmer.

Could you rephrase that?

do you have an agp voltage config in your bios that you can change manually???, this is often casued by an agp voltage setting

my mate had a 9200 and he upgraded to a 9800 se, his pc would not boot up. He took it in and he had to get 500 w PSU. (he had 300w). Maybe u have same problem

he had fans on the same line as his 9800 and his fans flicked/dimmed and slowed down sometimes (he has neon ones). He got the 500 w and the fans went bac to norm and so did his pc.
