hello, i am running windows 98se and i would like to know how to disable the task scheduler icon that is in your task bar on the bottom of the screen. i had something scheduled in there but then i deleted it because i didn't need it anymore. please help me. thank you.

i dont think you can do it dude ive heard of it being done but it leads to problems to be honest upgrade if u can to XP if your pc cant handle it up grade it too 98 is dead

i found this the easiest way
Run command Type: msconfig
click on startup tab
untick the schedule
that got rid of it for me when i had win 98 and ME.
