How do I do it?
I wanna record 2 hours of my old grad video to a regular CD-R that will be playable in the DVD player.

This is because I wanna digitize my VHS tapes into CD format so I do not have to have videos clogging up my house.

I am currently using Dazzle (www.dazzle.com) (Product Digital Video Creator 80) to transfer the VHS tapes to the computer. I am stuck from here as to what to do because I am affraid that if I try to burn it on a CD it will not play on the DVD player and I will have wasted many CD's.

If this requires a converter from the net to change the format from its format to VCD format can someone please suggest a good and fast one? Thank you

if im not mistaken dazzle makes .avi files. .avi files that can easy be converted to mpeg files using tmpgenc. then all you need is nero to burn them to VCD. if you want an in depth tutorial you can get that at www.vcdhelp.com.

LMAO. are you like dumping the raw file? If you do that, it will be huge as hell. You need to use something compressed, or change the format of the file.

Strange. The quality of the raw file should be really really good. Well, it is from VHS, so keep that in mind.
I mean just do what was mentioned above by the other guys, convert the format of the file.

I have the Dazzle 80 also. Couldn't get it to work.

Do I install the software first or plug in the dazzler to the usb port first?
