Hi, I recently had to backup my boot(system) partition as a 30G .bkf on a separate partition so that I could install server 2k on my rig to do an assignment. The problem is that after restoring the .bkf (inc. system state) some of my device drivers wern't restored and most needed to be re-installed. furthermore, my daemon tools startup settings would cause windows to give me invalid device error messages on startup (even after removing daemon from startup in msconfig).
None of this really concerns me, what concerns me is the amount of time xp now takes to start windows, that and the fact that my application event log is corrupted...how do I re-create or initiate a new application log??
