Sorry, but still burning problems

:confused: :confused: I'm getting tired of this... I have been trying to backup Red alert 2 since months, and it still doesn't work!!
Ok many of you will say now "ohhh, damn him with red alert 2, that's the 100st question he asks about it"
But for those who still want to help me:rolleyes: : I can make a copy of it (with my LITE-ON and with CloneCD) but I can't play the game with it, I can't even install it!:( And if I can't install it, I also can't apply any crack...
I have tried to unwrap the game with safedisc2cleaner, but it still doesn't work!

If someone can help, it would REALLY be appreciated!

Very weird. OK... Let's do it this way.

First let me ask you:

Are you trying to play this burned copy from a 'standard' CD-ROM/DVD drive, or from a burner?

Next: What version of CloneCD are you using & what model Lite-On do you have?

Next: What speed are you doing this at? Read & Write speeds.

Once you answer those, we can continue.

1) From a burner, but I tried from my standard CD rom as well.

2) Using CloneCD 4.0.1.10, and a LITE-ON LTR (40125S) 48x max Read Speed, 40x max Write speed. CD-Rom is 40x

3)Writing at max speed.

OK... Try copying it again. This time, READ & WRITE at no faster than 4x. Also, play it from the CD-ROM this time & not the burner. Let me know. ;)

Also, make sure you use the proper settings.
