That's the price you pay when you download a game or 'aquire' an illegal copy instead of buying it. You WON'T be playing online unless you find someone stupid enough to give you HIS retail cd key. Or, you find some kind of cracked server. OR... maybe sometimes, if your lucky, there's a trick or something to get around it.

Start Support\Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2_code.exe from CD or dir.

Fill in the new key, and press OK.
