View Full Version : Slow down to 10 fps in gta3!

In the middle of the game the fps down to 10 or less!
The only solution i know is toogle with Alt+Tab a back. :-(
What was the solution?

PIII 850
AIW 7500
384 Mb SDR
40Gb Ata66

Try fiddling with your settings like turn trails off and set the draw distance low and fiddle with texture details cos u need a fast system to run it on high

It would seem that the pc version is very rushed and very buggy...

You need stupid power to get good performance...

It's a well known prob over @ www.gta3forums.com

Mines a 1gig athlon @ 1.25 with 512ram and radeon 64ddr gfx.

I get crap framerate too...

It would seem Rockstar aren't to be trusted....:mad:

I thought the pc version was quite good specially with all the mods and stuff like the steath fighter instead of a dodo
