Hi all....need an idiots guide to installing patches/no-cd,etc.
Am new to all this and would appreciate if anyone can direct me to a tutorial which will give me a step by step gude to installing the damn things on my game files so that i can play them without crashes,etc.

Most of the time there is a readme to walk you through it mate ;) Also, I could swear there was a thread that went over how to do it but I can't find it so I'll do my best to explain.
There are a few different types of cracks. Some are executables you run. Some are just files that you must replace, etc. I find the best way is to make an image of the CD and then use DaemonTools to mount the image. If you need any more info just holler.

Ah, there ya go. I'm sure those will be a much more help at explaining than I did ;) Thanks for the link Rocol, a lot of my friends ask me the same question, it'll be good not to have to explain the same thing over and over.

Oh well...it was worth a try...Did everything the guide said...step by step..unfortunately the crack i used still didn't stop the game from crashing.The game was Tiger Woods 2005...i gather its a hard one to do anyway...
Any more advice welcome guys.
I have Alcohol120 and Daemon tools as well...no joy there.

I don't know what happened.
I have the wmp 10. When I want to play a video a message comes up.
That message says that I am missing a "75" codec. The problem is that I cannot find any "75" codec. Someone please help me. Any information would realy be appreciated.
