AOM Not letting me invite firends into game?

I am trying to get AOM Gold to let me invite people into a game but it wont let me. My brother is on the other computer and we are trying to play a multiplayer game but it wont let us play against each other. It wont even let us see each others status or games we host. Is it because were on the same internet? AOL for broadband for me and Aol for dial up for him? I am usinga patch and he is using the original could taht be it?

are you running the same version? How are u trying to play vs each other.... Over ESO? or via ip?
remember ESO only allows one person to be online at anyone time with one cd key.... this wont affect IP tho...


if you have 2 computers in one house, id suggest a lan.. then u can play fun very fast 1v1 games ;-).. also it would allow both computers to use your broadband...
