ive kept the NOLF2 cds in tip-top condition and havent experienced any problems whatsoever only until recently... i cant install it. AT ALL. when i pop the first cd in......it takes a good while to load it. then, an error message saying "NOLF2 caused an invalid page fault in model krnl386.exe at 0002:00007bf8" i dunno what that crap means but i do know that it aint good :redroll: ......mind you i kept the nolf2 cds in MINT condition...so i dont get why this is happening. so i got creative (or not) and attempted to copy the files onto my hard drive and tried installing it that way. amazingly, all the other files (data1, data2, GAME.REZ, etc.) from the cds copied on EXCEPT "nolf2.exe". hell, i even grabbed the game demo and tried "replacing" the cd nolf2.exe with the demo version .exe in the copied file folder.......it worked until it tried installing. said (obviously) "didnt have the right nolf2.exe listed in the .cab file"
from the gist of it im thinkin that the "nolf2.exe" is corrupted. :D with that said...is there any possible way to fix that corrupted file by any chance? will one of the "no-cd" thingies work?! (bad quesion...but im new at them)
