Ive found that when something critical goes wrong in terms of software or viruses, the only choice might be to a reformat and do a clean install then the horrible task of going through CDs and discs to find drivers and software for all the hardware, this can take a few hours.

there MUST be a way once you have installed all the progs and drivers to make a backup on a blank CD which will if the time arises will automatically revert everything back to a newly installed computer with drivers ect without the hassle of doing it manually.

What I tried was copying everthing on my harddisk to cd, then reformating the harddisk and copying the cd back on my computer but it didnt work, it would not load.

Is there a prog that will backup the entire hardisk, so that when the computer is reformated you can run for example a .exe file and everything will be done for you including software drivers other files ect? if not I HIGHLY recommend this.
