same here everytime i played i need to insert the CD2 on the drive damn i hate to insert the cd2 everytime i played the game it's very annoying :-(

Guys i tried re-instsalling the game and applying a patch, I immediately tried to run the game and it worked! But now that I try it later, I'm told to
"run the game from the CD-ROM"

I have problem with crack too. I cant even copy the crack from cd1 to nhl-folder. It says "access denid". So I downloaded new crack and put nhl2005.exe-file in the right place but when I trying to lounch the game, it says:
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item"
I have installed game twice but its same results... Any ideas? plz.

I think you can't copy, because you don't have the privileges to write/replace
files in that folder.
Changing to an admin ID (and then re-install) could probably fix that.

But I've got another problem:
With the new fix (NHL2005v1.0NoCDPatchEng.rar) I'm able to start the game without the CD, but it terminates when
a Match is about to start.
Hope there will be a working fix soon.

I have logged in as admin but I cant still replace nhl2005.exe-file. Actually all other files in game are interchangeable, but no exe. I have check that the file is not even "read only". I really want to start playing =( Any other ideas?

tried posting a no-cd but had some trouble with the server....no problem....just follow this link....Haven't tried any yet but keep me posted if something works.
