i just bought NHL2005 and it does not work . I checked and i have all the requirements but when i start a game only the nubers of the players appear with a part of the ice but that's all.

hey ..same thing happend to me...so i bought a stealth s80 video card and got my bro to install it....works like a charm..so all u need is a new video card

Maybe you only need to update your system? DirectX, Graphics, Etc?

no need for a new video card that's too radical .. just update the video card drivers with the ones '' Xp/2000'' on Nvidia site . cuz the game need one at least 6.17 to work with gforce .
