Hi all I'm new, (sorry 4 my english, but I'm italian....)
I've bought Commandos 2 and I've a problem. Under win xp it works.....BUT....
The game sometime decides to corrupt a savegame and it will not work anymore..and I must repeat the same levels 4-5 times....it seems to be a problem because of os.
The nice eidos write this in the faq:
Ultimately, it is the responsibility of Microsoft and/or specific hardware manufacturer to provide for backward compatibility with Windows XP; this is to insure that the device drivers are compatible.
At this time we do not have plans to change our older titles to make them Windows XP compatible for the reasons above. We realize this may be a problem for some users. If you have Windows XP on your machine, and the game will not function, your best course of action may be to return the game to the place of purchase.(!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?)So eidos doesn't want to do anything.....so nice! :asmd:
I've installed the "international patch" but the only thing changed is this:
Without patch the pc crash when I try to load the chosen savegame
with patch it return on desktop...
So.....I must install win 98????????

Make a dual boot system with win 98 and xp together in different partitions with some software like partition magic or another else is the only thing I can suggest you

yes....but nothing change...
I think the only thing I can do is to install w98 .......
