My computer locks up after five minutes! My computer is about to as I type this! I need help! Egad, this just started after I tried to scan with registry stuff..

You started to scan or already deleted some files with reg cleaner prog ?
What reg cleaner you use ?
Most of them have backup in default for deleted files, so you can restore files that you have deleted.
Run also adware/spyware and virus progs if possible (quick scan).
Ad-ware and spysweeper are good progs.

Anyway, how do I lock a topic?

That`s good.
I think you can`t lock it, it`s not necessary either :)
Only Admins and Moderators do that.
