Films in Wmp run very darkly

How can i turn the brightness of windows media player? i need it 'cause everytime that i run a movie its very dark.
P.s. i dont have problems with the Moinitor/Computer 'cause everything else works fine.

i had the same troble, i must have changed a setting and forgot about it so i reset to defualts and it seemed to work fine.

do this
click view -> now playing tools -> video settings
and a thing should appear under the video with settings for brightness, colour and things like that :)

some cds wouldn't play well at media player. sometimes it's the copy too.

couldn't this be fixed simply adjusting the buttons panel of your monitor? or maybe If you check ion control panel- display- advanced settings and you do a search between the options, I don't know what video card you have but some video card drivers install special software to adjut gamma or brightness of the screen you should check that

Depending what graphics card you have, you can adjust the gamma and overlay controls in your adnavced graphics options

goto, start, control panel, displays, settings and then advanced options.

it could be in there somewhere.
