Install Win 95 not finding the CD

I am trying to install windows 95 on a REALY old computer but i can not got the computer to find the CD ROM drive. all my drive partishions are correct i just can not get the computer to find the ROM drive. I have the Floppy drive just not the rom. do i need to do something in fdisk again cos i am working atm from MS-DOS. please help

You need a boot disk with CD Rom support.
Get one for Win 98 OEM here
http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm
and use it to boot your machine, then follow the on screen instructions to find your CD Rom.
