MGS 2 Substance Vid issues

ok heres me problem, i just installed MGS2 substance and for some reason the faces dont show up in the codec screen and sometimes the voices in a cutscence sound all metallic and weird plz helpp. ps i used to hav this game installed and it was all kool but after i reinstalled it all this ++++ began to happen :run: :run: :run: :run:

well i don't have the game but does it say anything about divx?? i know enter matrix had divx codec's for the vids. you could try and get them from www.divx.com
or update/reinstall your sound card drivers. update your directX

I have this game and had the same problem when i had my Geforce 2 i upgraded to my GeForce Fx 5600 XT and the problem ceased when i asked the people at konami support they said it was due to some graphics cards they said it will only happen with Geforce 2's and EVERY ATI card on the market
apparantly they had problems with graphics porting it to PC

so they released a game that isn't compatable with 1/2 of the consumers......

Dont believe the above system requirements like most games the minimum system requirements just mean you get a picture on your screen at best to run this you should have at LEAST a 2.0ghz Intel (any) or Athlon (64 bit only) and a NVIDIA only graphics card in the FX series at least a 5600 be warned anything less than a 5600 is crap because they dont do any features and are technicaly just a geforce 4 with less features, anyway the ati patch for this apparantly works but i have not tried it because i do not own one and will NEVER own one i guess this whole debauckle just shows that the ATI cards just arent worth the trouble

umm ive got a Gforce 4 and before i unistalled this game it used to run fine with no graphics probs watsoever so wtf is goin on here?
