winamp colour prob

lately when i play video clips in winamp they come up in shades of purple... its only winamp affected, all other colours on my system are ok, they re-paint colours fine when changing webpages or applications.
i down load clips which have the prob with them in winamp, burn them to disc and play them in my dvd player (thru tv) and colour is fine.

i have just upgraded to winamp5 in hope of fixing it but the problem has carried over

any ideas?

that happened to me before after i installed nimo
also the video got crazy on me when i installed certain plugins for win amp but i can't remeber what the piugs were

if you dont have nemo installed i would reinstall win amp 5 but clean the old reg files left over
