Hello,

I recently bought a geforce 5900XT but if I play nfsu then the game starts to hang when i'm playing. I've tried already to decrease the quality level but it is al the same. Now i'm searching for another driver. But I don't know which one I must choose. Has anyone an idea about where this problem is going about?
Please help me!!!!!

have you patched the game yet, it may be needed for the game to support a later model card, as for drivers, i'm an ati guy so i'd have no idea, go to nvidia site and grab the latest would be my guess, it is where i got my latest chipset drivers.
I have also had similar issues with this game and for my low end system it was resolved by a patch and corresponding crack, the higher end system has a faulty graphics card and is as such giving me a headache, not to worry, only a couple of months before NFSU2 hits the shelves.

goto www.nvidia.com and www.microsoft.com/directx
defrag your hard drive

I've tried everything you said. I've downloaded the latest drivers and I downloaded the latest directx. But still it will not run perfect. But this problem is only in the first lap of a circuit. After the first lap the game is running perfectly but when i start a new race, the problem is there again in the first lap.
I have a geforce fx 5500.

hello ppl, Iīm a new member here and I want to start asking if anyone had this problem running nfsu with a fx5500 card. Everytime I use the NOS or when the car reaches a high speed, instead of the motion blur effect, the whole screen (except the cars) turn dark gray, so I canīt see anything unless I slow down. I downloaded the latest nvidia drivers (61.77) but I still get the same problem. My card is a MSI fx5500 t128 and the game is running at 800x600, so the performance is not too demanding for my machine. Iīve looked for a nfsu patch to fix any motion blur problem, but havenīt had any luck yet. If anyone has been able to fix this bug, please contact me. Cheers.

sometimes if you've oc'ed your card even a little, it'll start to miss stuff... if you've oc'ed your card, then turn back the clocks a bit... my fx5200, while being a lousy piece of hardware, runs it fine at the same time it suffers from loss in fps... personally, i find the motion blur to be annoying, but that's just me

i havenīt overclocked the card, I just bought it and installed it and the problem was there. I reinstalled the game just in case, but nothing changed
