This may have already been posted but even a lot of experts of the system i have found dont even know how to do it or are simply not aware you can so here it is.
Goto start, run
in the run box, type - gpedit.msc and the local policy menu will appear.
now goto this under the section - Computer configuration - administrative templates - system, now in the right box where all the options are, double click - display shutdown tracker and 3 options will appear which are
1 not configured
2 enable
3 disabled
Select disabled, ok everything and close.
Now when you goto - start - shutdown, youll never be annoyed by it again.
