I think the root to the problem is that I have pasted the crack incorrectly. I pasted it in the Far Cry folder. Does anybody know where I should past it?

All you have to do is go onto your desktop right click on the normal Farcry Icon, the select properties the goto, "Find Target" then just click on paste & it will ask you if you want to replace the file, click OK then put your new file on your desktop.
