Spiderman games sound crap!

Lol like the title says, I've got spiderman 1 and 2, and the sound is awful, I've tried the patch for 1 and can't find one for 2 but its really bad quality.
Its like every time someone speaks its echoing but the echo is reeeeally glitchy (like when you burn/run adobe/and windows media player awful lol)

N e ideas?
btw these are the only games that do it >_<

1 last question? why is it the xbox version has free roaming spidy fun and the pc version we've gotta go through missions and ++++ and dont even get to swing where we like? <points out sodonmg

have you updated ur sound/directX drivers??
also if u can lower the sound quailty and see if that has any effect.
make sure your sound acceleration is on full. you can find that out on the control panel. or typing "dxdiag" on the run button.

ok i found out the problem, (other than the obvious that my onboard card is balls) the 'software' that is installed with the drivers decided to change my speakers from you know the average desktop speakers tooo.....
Rock surround sound speakers? lol as if :P

btw on a side note
is it just me or is Spiderman 2 the game like different on pc to consoles
ive played the xbox one and its freeroaming fun, the pc ver i got sucks you have to hit 'swing' targets to webswing + its not free roaming

did i get ripped of by a warez copy? >_< <hopes not

Having completed Spiderman 2 on pc i can conform ITS ++++! Not even 10% of the console versions!!! What a waste o money! >_<
