If ya put your CD in CD-ROM drive press and hold Shift for about 15 secs and it won't start up automaticly.

The main problem i am having is when i install a 2 or 3 disk game. When i put the second disk in to install my computer goes on with the install but also starts an autorun for that disk slowing everything down. Is their anything i can do ???

Well if you do a KB search on MS website it tells you how to regedit the settings to disable Autoplay. You can do this if you feel like doin a bit o reg hacking. If not you can get a Windows Tweak proggie like Tweak XP or some such and it allows for an option to disable autorun on the system.

I will not post instructions on how to hack registry as its not the safest thing in the world to do.

goto run and type gpedit.msc and the local group policy will appear
now goto local computer policy\administritive templates\system
Now you will find the option (Disable autoplay)
Enjoy.
Be very careful what you change in there if your not sure how to use it to its full potential.
