yes, i searched in other boards where they found a solution of that problem
Got this off of the ion boards and it finally worked for me.
Go go....c\ program files\common files
Go to propertys and uncheck read only---and hidden.
I forgot the guys name who posted this or I would have posted it.

wot are the specs of ur pc??
empty ur temp files. in disk cleanup.
seems strange i never had that problem with my copy.
XP is funny when it comes to show property's on folders. they always seem to be read only, or a faded read only(some are read only!!!)
goto the property's of that folder, click on the read only till there is nothing in there (no little black square) click on ok. and see wot happens.
does anyone know the folder wot deus ex puts in there??? i would check but i don't have it installed anymore.

check:
enough disk space?
Not running Alcohol 120%?
Not running CloneCD's "CD-R check fooler"?
You meet the system requirements for the game?
"My Documents" folder is in correct location and hasn't been moved?
"My Documents" folder can be written to? (not read-only for any reason?)
Logged in as Administrator?
Candles and incense burning and arranged in correct pattern, sacrificial offering of cold coffee placed in front of floppy drive?

I SOLVED THAT DAMN PROBLEM !!! ;)
I browsed in my own programs folder (C:\Programms) and enabled the show unvisible folders/files check box.
then i saw that "InstallShield Installation Information" Folder with a lot of folders with uninstall informations in it.
like:
{43801800-CFEE-11D2-A41B-006097B55AD3}
{0BEDBD4E-2D34-47B5-9973-57E62B29307C}
etc..
then i looked into the setup.ini file of the deus ex iw installer and i found that:
[Startup]
AppName=Deus Ex - Invisible War
ProductGUID=47BE1E5F-8978-484B-BE86-B616C00EA75A
.. so i saw that its one of that damn folders ;)
i deleted the folder with that ID (47BE1E5F-8978-484B-BE86-B616C00EA75A) which was in that "InstallShield Installation Information" Folder and now the installation is working !!
Thanks to all !
