ping problems

hey i've been having problems joining servers in call of duty. When i try to join some servers it tells me that the server is for low ping players only. the weird thing is that in other servers that i can get into, i have a ping in the 20s-30s...anybody know what's causing this problem? thanks

are you behind a firewall or NAT?? that will slow ur ping down. plus wot connection do u have??
