Need help with C&C Generals Patches

I need help with Patches there is a stupid error everytime displays the error is this 'Old File Not Found.However,A file of the same name was found.No update done since file contents do not match.' How can is solve this stupid error thanks then. :blacsigh and what for file they mean???

Have the original file there so the update can work as designed.

Completely wipe it and its registry entrys then re install if you keep getting this every time you upgrade generals you need the original files so before you crack it backup game.dat and all the exe's then crack when you wish to update it again replaced the cracked exe's with the originals

Wich Files exactly??? i downloaded the game from Kazaa Lite it was a .exe file i clicked on it and a self extractor installed the game and then i must unpak it again with UHARC and then with Keyinsert i putted the serial in it the game was not from a cd can i update the game then or???? i don't know.
And from wich site can i get these orginal files. :eyes:

Ah. a downloaded rip, in that case we cannot help you, perhaps if you were to go purchase the game, we could do somthing for you.
