ok i kinda new to this PS2 HDD thing,
all i know is that u can install the HDD at the back of the Ps2
but the thing i want to know is how u meant to connect it
u cant just put the HDD at the back panal
there must a connector or sumthing ????

you need a network adapter to utilize the hdd. The network adapter has IDE and power connections for the hard drive.

anybody any idea why if i use a back up file image to make a hdloader cd my ps2 just say insert a ps2 or ps 1 cd

You mean a backup of the HDLoader itself? In that case you can't, there's a protection on it. So you can't back them up on a CD. It's not related to Sony, it's made by people on the scene. So they know a thing or two how to back up things and how to protect it ;)

the hdd loader has already been cracked. you just have to look for it.

It's been cracked fo MC exploit not for a backup CD, that's why i didn't say it. Btw HD Advance is a cracked HDLoader too it has all the same comptibility features it's only better for swap magic, slide card, non solder chips... because of a larger TOC.

There is a HDloader cracked CD image floating around. I have it but I bought an original, so it doesn't do me much good. And yes it works. I'd rather have it as an MC exploit anyway :D
