Thanks! Im just now getting into this and i wasnt aware of this site!
I Wish i could find a clear and concise guide of playing backed up games... i treat stuff very badly.. they r bound to get scratched to hell. I do wish they categorized it a bit.. i want a no solder chip.. i have no confidence in myself to solder it and i dont want to ship it out to some person to get it chipped... I just want to buy one and install it to play my games...
EDIT: One more thing, Can i burn a backup and play it on my DVD+R dvd? or is it only DVD-R Compatible or does it depend on the mod chip?
I Asked on some other forums but none have gotten a reply.. Hopefully ill get one here!

The DVD+-R issue really depends on your own PS2. They are very picky, you just have to test one out and find a format that works. By the way, if you want a no solder chip you will also need boot discs like Swap Magic. If you want no swap, then a solder mod is the only way to go.
Another way is HDloader, which copies your game to the internal hard drive (if you have a hard drive and network adapter of course). Then you boot using the HDloader CD then load your games from the hard drive, reducing loading times and keeping your original games safe.
I think the reason there is no guide, is that it is VERY EASY :D
Most games you just make a 1:1 copy and you're good to go as long as you have a mod chip installed. Of course there are exceptions, but in general that's it.
