I already made a thread about this also... no response :(. Not many people have figured out a way around it I think.

Hey does anyone know what the actual name of the cd is? I mean when you put it in the computer, is it something like "CD1" or "Disk1" or something like that?

Do you mean that you also got that cl_parsepacketentities error too? I read in one of the threads that v1.01 only has cd-check now. But whenever i try the burned the cd, it still says insert disk 1. the only thing i can think of is maybe the cd's name (when its in the cd drive) has to be exactly the same as the game.

edit: Does anyone know the actual name of the cd? I've tried "CD1" and "Disk 1" but it still asks for disk 1 when i try and play it. Can someone please tell me what the name is?

I gots the fix for this problem. Can not believe it worked myself, but whatever.

Here is what I did.

1. Download Daemon-Tools 2.41 (and a GUI, I suggest DaemonUI 1.87)

2. Get an ISO for Cd 1 of Jedi Academy

3. Using Daemon Tools to mount Cd 1 ISO

4. Use the jamp.exe in the Game Data folder for Jedi Academy (DO NOT USE A NO CD CRACK!!!!!)

5. Enjoy your multiplayer experience, I know I have!

So far this is the ONLY way to play this game with your back-up copy of Jedi Academy. If you want an easier way, buy the darn game.

I have made a .cue and .bin of the files in disk one but when i wright it to the disk the disk names is 'roxio9' ??? shouldent it be 'Cd 1' ???.

I think it is because of this i still get the insert disk error. and when writing the disk i cant see anyware to change the lable in nero, clone cd or alc 120. please help if you can. if you cant could somone please e-mail me a list of regular multi player servers that work with the no-cd fix?

Its very simple:

1) instal game and update it
2) download crack from megagames v. 1.01 and replace it
3) burn all cd-1 files on a disk named JEDIACAD_1
4) launch game from instalation map (normaly C:\program files\lucasarts\ enz
5) open cd-rom drive put disk in close it, when you close choose server, cd begins to work and server starts. If you're doing this correct you wont get error anymore. you only have to do it once you start the game and choose a server. when you go in a another server you dont have to do it anymore

sorry for bad english, people

Sigh... I can't believe people here can't use the search! It's amazing that you'll find 99% of your problems (with solutions) in an existing thread.
