Hey can someone please please tell me how to block a throw move in Soul Calibur 2 on the Xbox and if possible on the PS2 i have looked everywhere for it. If someone could tell me i would be very grateful.

Thanks in advanced

Yes u can, i have performed it plenty of times, but i was just button bashing at this point :-) . It is possible though, the two characters sort of bounce off each other as the throw is blocked,a green flash occurs and it makes a noise which sounds like two light sabers hitting.

yup definately not guard breaking, i'll have a look at the link.

Just found this in the text:

" Throws can also be blocked, by pressing the dominant throw button
in the desired throw. For example, I initiate the A+G throw on my
opponent. My opponent guesses correctly and taps A as I start the
throw. My attempted throw will then be countered because the A button
was the dominant button. It takes a lot of timing and guessing, but
when mastered, countering throws will come in VERY handy."

Thanks Rocol A*

Yeah, all you need to do is perfrom a throw at the same time to counter it, but what's better than that (and faster) is to simply side step. (up up or down down) or just duck to avoid the throw.

I agree with Vile. Sidestepping is better.

You asked how to BLOCK a throw, not counter it. It's hard to block anything when someone's not striking you..
