Ok, I'm hoping to have Comcast hooked up this week. They only give one IP address so I need a Wireless setup that allows me to have the broadband connection in 2 rooms on 1 IP address.
The Broadband Cabling will probably be run into my living room. And then I need the wireless connection to go to my bedroom, which is about 40 feet away and 4 walls in between.
In my living room is my PC, and in my bedroom is my PS2,Xbox,GC. So I've read some stuff on the net saying that Socom II is picky with what routers and stuff you use.
So I need a wireless setup that will work with Socom II, and hopefully my other consoles and games. I'd prefer for it to be a 54mbps, but if you guys think 11mbps will do the trick then go ahead and suggest a setup.
My computer already has a ethernet card, so I assume all I need now is a wireless router for my pc, and something that will hook up to my consoles, some sort of wireless console adapter? or will another router work? And remember (not sure if this helps or not), Comcast only gives me 1 IP address, they charge extra for more, so I'd like to be able to only need 1 IP address for this setup.
