booting to a dashboard on xbox without mod chip - is it possible?

i have spent the las t6 months learning everything possible about to backup xbox games and learned the whole load dashboard and ftp it debackle and have all the tools but there is one problem where i am i cant get a mod chip for my xbox and i need to load Evox or another dashboard to my xbox but can load it becuase i have no chip. is it possible to boot to a dashboard without a mod chip if so HOW?.


and one thread said to get the Team Xavier 4 in one dash but the link is broken and i cant find them ANYWHERE on the net

yes it is possible.... all you neew is a good computer... a few files.... and you have to hotswap with your pc load the files... then solder a few points on the xbox mobo to flash the bios and it will work... but it is risky... go to XS and they have links to buy modchips..... just get one from them....

well if u dont wanna open ur x box keep the warrant and that u should sof mod ur xbox using some old school games like mechassult oo7:agent under fire u should look on the net for more old school games that would work...and tutorials on how to do it with ur ftp

the main things u need to noe is
-have a home brewn controller to computer
-memorycard
-and old school xbox game (originals not platnimun hit or sumthin)
-noe mirc
server efnet
#xbins
-noe ftps
get the adress off mirc
get all the nessesary programs for the tutorial u are using

and if u noe all the hard stuff itll b easy
but it took me like four days to master all my faults

yeah.... you need to hotswap with pc.... and you need the iso . ++++ i have a tutorial on how to do it if you want it?

You DO NOT need to hotswap your hdd with the PC. Get an exploited gamesave (MA/007/Splinter cell), and get ldots UDE Installer 1.6
This installs the UDE hack (boots straight to Evox/MXM, whatever, with NO CHANCE OF A CLOCKLOOP)
Your box will behave just like a chipped one, without voiding your warranty. A new pbl has just been released that looks like it will work with the newer kernels, too. Check xbox-scene forums, in the "xbe exploits" forum.
This can all be done very easily with a little research. I'm running with this setup, only I added a 40gig drive to my box.
