I like Final Fantasy 9 because of the story and Characters. Sub characters in Final Fantasy 9 are also good.

i think 7 or 8
7 had a good storyline but poor graphics (compared to now ) and a large selection of weapons
8 had better graphics but a poor selection of weaponry and a all right storyline

ff7 by far, it may have crappy graphics but in story, dificulty, etc its better than all the rest. 8 was way too easy for me, ff9 has good but i didnt like the characters

1.FFVII(go sephiroth go)
2.FFVI(go kefka)
3.FFT(great tactics rpg the psx version)
4.FFVIII(great storyline shame about the game being to easy)
5.FFX(personally i hated most of it but great storyline hate the sequel)

Well i just dont think that FFVII can be beat and i cannot wait for FFAC to come out.Jan

For me :

1 : FF6 is the best of all (and also my all-times favourite game, with the greatest musics I've heard in a game)

2 : FF8 (too easy ???? FF8's difficulty level increases as your own level increases, so if you wanna the most difficult challenge of all the FF series, just go to level 100, I guess it was a compromise so the "light players" could finish the game easily without a boring "leveling" and the skilled players could have a real challenge if they wanted to), for almost everything, great graphics yet now, the best summonings (just compare FF8's Nosferatu with FF9's Atomos and laugh lol), an interesting storyline (less childish than the others FF), a great card game (way better than the ridiculous FF9's card game) etc...

3 : FF7 & Tactics (great T-RPG, but way too easy)

Hello guys FF-X and FF-X2 are good games but FF9 has better magic effects more funny lights when you use magic and the Aeon attacks in FF9 are very cool but in FFX too Bahamut is my favorite Aeon with his Megaflare.But in FF-X you can control the Aeons that is much better than unlease 1 attack.and then dismiss no control your favo Aeon in FFX but in FFX-2 there are no Aeons snif snif that sucks but in FFX2 there are cloth change transformations kinda funny greets me

I got a 3 footed chocobo from the promiced land inside the chocobo woods in icicle del sol south of north midgar!!! anyone else? + a two headed chocobo with no body. just the head but you can't ride it. it rides on you under water with lots of boubbles!!!

Dude I have to say from playing all of the Final Fantasy games i think that FFX is the best. I thought the plot was extremely rich and the graphics were also amazing. Not to mention the great music. The magic in the game so far has beaten out most of the other FF games in my opinion next to FFIX. I enjoyed playing it so much as well. If you guys like any of the Final Fantasy games I also suggest you pick up Kingdom Hearts as well. I think Kingdom Hearts beats out all of the Final Fantasy games in my opinion, even though it is just my opinion.

This is definitly a tough question considering how awesome they all were. Final Fantasy is what kept Nintendo afloat. As the name suggests, Nintendo thought that this was going to be their last game. How wrong they were...

Okay, without a doubt it has to be ff7. This is blatantly the best, most imersing game ever made. By the end the charecters are like your brothers and sisters you just know every detail about them, its one of those games where you look back at a point you played at the start like the midgar building and its as if you were there and it was a true memory. This is why it lasts so long 'cos you can go back and recreate those same feelings you felt when you were there fighting for your life the first time round. ff9 tried to recreate this, made a pretty good, enjoyable game but its a bit too childish, with the cross between real lookin people and cartoony kids. Every time i hear the music from any of the ff titles though it just brings back great memories

FFX-2 better than FFX? and FF7 and FF8? im going to pretend you did not post that up. by far best FF game ever made is FF7. yea the graphics are not that great but this game had a real good storyline. then comes FFX, and in third comes FF8. did not like FF9 too much and FFx-2 was the worse FF game i ever played.
