dvd music

Hi all.i'm about to rip a music dvd,i have a wav to mp3 convrter and i want to know before i start is when i convert the large wav file to mp3 will i be able to seperate each of the songs to individual mp3s so when i put them onto a cd they will all have seperate track numbers etc?
Can anyone please give me some advice?

Y dont u already have ur files as mp3 and yes they will have different track numbers but with mp3 u cant fast forward or rewind the song only skip and so on.... That is the bad thing about mp3.......
