I have a PS2. I have had it for awhile now. I didn't have any problems from it until a few months ago. It doesn't seem to read any of my games, new or old. I tried cleaning it with a cheap cleaning disk and doesn't seem to work. When it is trying to load a game or DVD, it makes a clicking noise. Can someone please tell me what I need to do to fix it? Thanx.

It's your laser that makes such a sound what version ps2 you have?
If you've opened up your PS2 you've lost your warranty. If you want to do it yourself you got to clean the laser most times the laser is going bad when you play to many movie DVDs on it. After a while you can't play any game anymore. So if you didn't open your PS2 yet you're in luck. And you can ask sony what to do. If you did well either pay their service or do it yourself.

I'm not sure what version I have. I got as a present when the ps2 first came out. Not sure when that was. I haven't opened my ps2. Maybe my warranty is still good. Thanks for your help fantasy.
