View Full Version : True crime not starting. PLEASE HELP

Ok so I installed the game and at first it loaded all the way up to the LTI Gray matter Co logo screen. Then when the True crime's screen came up witht the copyright info and all that junk it crashed to desktop. No warnings no errors nothing. Can anyone help me out with this issue? thanks all if u can.

Is it an Original Disk ??

Do your Comp Specs meet requirements ??

my system meet specs and its from a ISO But The intall was perfect.

do u have something like deamon tools in the background?? i hear the game does not run if u have a CD image reading program

Hi All , I to am having the same probs as a lot you. i came across this information on the net hope this helps you guys out... let me know if it works? i have not tryed it out yet!!!



Run the game from your CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive to avoid the protection engine

checking ATiP information that will determine if your using a burnt

CDR/CDRW media or a manufactured retail CD.

CD2 ,CD3 ,CD4 can be burnt as you would burn a normal isos release
and it should be possible to mount them on virtual drives to install.
However read below -- once installed disable virtual drives
as the play disk CD1 will be blacklisted. CD1 must be burned!!!!!

Additional Notes: Make sure you Disable Virtual Drives as some may be

blacklisted by the SafeDisc protection engine.
