Ps2 DVD region problem

Hi! i have a ps2 version scph 39001 and i would like to know if there is a software to hack the dvd region restriction of it. I have a chip which allows to cd-r and dvd-r games but it doesn't work for the dvd movies region restriction. I think the chip i'm using is called magic 3.0 or something like that.

You can by a disc called " dvd region x " this will let you play any region dvd movies.
