does anyone kno how to defeat lord gizamaluke in his cavern on thw way to burmecia. cannot deafeat him .

ive defeated him about 7 times. Your probably on a low level or dont have verry good weapons. get zidains weapon called the oger and use soal blade to cast darkness.

use your status changing magic ( Sleep , Darknees , poison ect ) then just keep attacking him with powerful moves ( trances ect ) heal often to prevent ko's
he will soon fall

just before you vs him get your trance level to just about the max
make sure you have learned the abilites from the butterfly sword that you get from the synthesis shop in Lindblum after learning the abilites make sure you give him the ogre thats the strongest weapon that he can have at that point of the game

during the battle get vivi to cast thunder get zidane to steal the icestaff and then physical attack and get freya to physical attack as well dont worry about using jump unless shes in a trance
if you still having trouble at this point you can always get quina from the nearby marsh that is located just out side the dragon gate

Well if you look around the net for strategies they all pretty much say he is a pretty hard boss, but to be honest he is a punk and easy to defeat unless u are at a low level. if you do want to steal that stuff make sure u have bandit equip so u wouldnt waste time. have vivi be your healer and do phsycial attacks with zidane and with that rat chick i forget her name do jump and u will kill him in no time. :dance:
