View Full Version : what to do after ripping xbox game to pc's hard drive?

hello: i have just ftp'ed my cousins halo backup to my pc hard drive. what do i do next? i dont exactly understand what is going on in the tutorial so if someone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. i have Xiso, but what do i do with that?

also, i am trying to burn them to a data dvd-r in primo dvd but it doesnt recognize my dvd-rw drive. and apparently stomp is no longer available. what do i do?

You only need xISO if you are extracting an xbox image.

Since you simply FTP' and downloaded the Halo files to your hard drive, all you need to do is burn the files you downloaded.

You can download a trial version of RecordNow Max from here (http://www.techhelping.com/files/setup_rnm30day.exe)

You should be fine using any burning software. Just make a data disc, and be sure to burn using the "DAO closed", and "UDF up to 128 in filename length"

i found an easier way. i just create an iso file with qwix and burn that in nero and it worked. will this work for all games?

Burning a data disc is much easier and faster than creating an ISO, followed by burning the ISO, but there are plenty of ways to go about this.

I tend to stay away from Nero myself, as it's a pretty cheesy program, but if it works for you, then stick with it.

xISO is a horribly buggy app. Use Craxtion, Qwix or a gdf iso
