Silent Hill 2 Asks for CD...BUT ITS IN THE DRIVE!!! *HelpPlz Gents*

Just installed Silent Hill 2 for the PC. The game keeps asking for CD1 even though the CD is in the drive, so I cant load the game up. Any help would be much appreciated lads.

If ya have an other drive put the CD inthere and try it again, if ya only have one CD-ROM put another in ya computer case and then try it agian.
If that didn't work copy the play-CD and try it again with the copy.
These are (i think) the only ways to try it.

does it install?
does this only happen when you try to play the game?
did you try a no cd fix
