I am having trouble trying to find a perfectly legal downloading program that may cost money for maybe a 1year subscription or a anual payment. eg: only paying once for the program and not for the songs/software. If anyone could help me out and give me a link to a site were to or the direct link to the program that would be great.
If this is against the rules I'm sorry and you may close this thread I just havent been on here very recently and am in a hurry to type this out so I don't really have the time to read the rules but I will ass soon as I get back from going to relatives house. :chatter:
www.allofmp3.com
It's perfectly legal, a site based in Russia.
I use it. I like it for a lot of reasons:
Pricing goes by megabyte. You can pay a minimum of five dollars for five gigabytes, and it's a $0.01 a megabyte. This means that you can get songs for less than five cents, perfectly legal. It also encodes to the options you want, so you can get your song in LAME/MP3, OGG Vorbis, Lossless, FLAC, whatever you want. It's the best music service out in my opinion. It has no DRM rights on it either, so you can transfer/use/share it as much as you want, unlike Similar services like the iTunes or Napster services.
Hope this helps.

oh yeah, congress is trying to make kazaa illegal arent they, rofl.
Yes they are, and they should!
Licenses and such should be protected. If you wanted to persue a career in Music, would you make heart-less music just so you can get a hit and get popular? Why can't the artists who want to make a living make the music they want to and still be able to be financially stable?
A good example of this is Todd Rundgren, who wrote songs like "Bang on my Drum" - no one knows who wrote them, but everyone knows the song.. "I don't want to play, I wan't to bang on my drum all day" - it's an american lyric! Todd Rundgren is one of the most multi-tallented individuals in the world, and he only makes hits when he HAS to - when he's struggling. Otherwise, what's the point in selling your soul for some money?
However, NO BAND should have to do this. And with Mp3 downloading, it's making MANY artists rethink their career. In addition, the USER shouldn't be downloading music because the quality of an Mp3 just plain sucks, and the idiotic newbs on "Kazaa" don't know how to rip music many times, so often you get scratches, blips, blops, bleeps, bloops, and skips on your track. Who the hell wants that?
Again, I think my link (www.allofmp3.com) is a GREAT solution. Especially becasue you get the full quality, and you can get full CDs for under a dollar LEGALLY.

i've seen u jump on soap box about mp3's before. i'll put u straight on a few things you have obviously been on kazaa so you have been downloading mp3's illegally. wither u like quality or not. personally i cant stand the site & never download from it. if u want without scratches etc buy the original, then artist gets a % of cost, if your concience bothers u so much about artists rights.
your site 'the great solution' you said is so legal, are you honestly so naive that u believe russian mp3 sites are legal and out of your whole dollar the artist will get his %. most sites are run by russian entepeneurs trying, like most people to make a buck.
Todd Rundgren i'm sure has made a nice living out of music industry. You can debate the ethics of mp3 till your blue in face but lets face the music industry is in a turmoil. they have been over charging for years throwing, 'formula' music at us for years & still wonder why they dont make as much as they used to & blamed decline on mp3's because it was convenient. Yes i do believe mp3's have helped the decline but its not only reason, there was an increase in sales of classic albums people may have downloaded from net & wanted original & other albums by that band.
so next time you download from your favourite site your doing it just as illegal as 90% of the population lol
