I am look for game patches that fix games so they can play in windows XP.

A friend found a patch for star trek birth of the federation so it will play in XP and I hope that there is a web site that has more of this patches as I have a number of older games that do not work in XP or run to fast now and need to be slowed down.

I would like to find away to get this games to work in XP and be playable:

Star Trek 25th Anniversary
Star Trek the next generation a final Unity
Star Trek Generations
Star Trek Klingon Honor Guard
Star Trek DS9 The Fallen

Some of this game do install but have graphic of speed problems.

I hope someone can help

Have you tried running them in compatibility mode?

Right click on the games exe file and click the compatibity tab and choose the OS that the game was made for.

Try this, it may work for you.

Best bet to find the kind of patches you are looking for is to go to the developers website, or try what skull says :)

My brother has tried this but can still not get his Star Trek New Words to work in XP and as I stated some of the games like ST DS9 the Fallen work but have graphic problems.

My friend who gave me the patch for ST Birth of the federation said that their was a web site that had loads of fixes to run game in XP however he has lost the site address when his system crashed.

mmm... Klingon Honor Guard, Generations, DS9 Fallen, an New Worlds works fine on my Windows XP.... then agian, all of the former I've uninstalled ages ago, though they were installed, play, and uninstall during the duration of the time I've had XP. (with reformates, system file repair...)

Some games just can't be played in XP.

Check this site for many game patches.
